More money donated to Selinsgrove 5th Grade Camp

MONROE TOWNSHIP – Monroe Township plans to increase the amount of money donated to Selinsgrove Area School District’s Fifth Grade Camp Fund. With 43 fifth grade students living in the township, supervisors agreed to donate $1,075, which is a major increase from the $200 donated last year.   This equates to about $25-per student in the Township.  The School District initially asked for $4,300.  Students participate in numerous fundraisers throughout the school year to offset the costs of 5th grade camp.  (Lauren Koch) Follow
